:Working with James and the City crew mowing is one of my fondest memories. Whenever I think of all that we did or silly things that happened it always brings a smile to my face. Card games, going to baseball and soccer games. He was a quiet soul with a huge heart and a love for his family. He will missed.
I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Rodgina and family,
I was very saddened to hear of James' passing. He was a kindhearted man and a good friend and classmate of mine while growing up in Kiowa.
About three years after graduation, he decided to move to where I was living in Oklahoma. I was just getting out of the military, and he was looking for a change. His passion then was to become an electrician. He had experience in that field, so I helped him land a job with a local electrical contractor. His boss told me on several occasions that he had never had an employee that was so dedicated and willing to work as James was. He told me James was very knowledgeable and really cared about his job.
After some time James became homesick and decided to move back to Kiowa. After telling me his decision, he then gave his boss his notice.
His boss told me "I just lost a good man," and that's what James was, a good man.
After he moved back to Kiowa and I moved on to Colorado we stayed in touch for awhile. We had some good long distance telephone conversations over the next few years. I kept telling him that you all need to come to Colorado for a visit. Though he was unable to make it out, I thought of him from time to time.
There's a lot of good stories that I could share with you about James. All my memories of him are good ones. I'm sure Kiowa is as saddened by your loss as I am, and I pray that the Lord will give you peace and comfort through this difficult time.
May the peace of the Holy Spirit be with you.
